Bob was a long-time resident of Topeka and was very influential in getting hockey started in our fair city. Bob was also a member of the 1960 US Gold Medal hockey team. Bob died last last week, and all of our local hockey community will miss him greatly. Our beer league originally named our championship trophy for Bob 4 years ago. Sadly, it is now a memorial trophy. If anyone can let me know how, i'll gladly upload a picture of the Bob Owen Memorial Championship Cup.
