Exercising in the morning helps you avoid excuses, gets you fit faster and has you feeling ready to face the day ahead.
When you first wake up in the morning your metabolism is chugging along at a very low rate, it is at its lowest level because it slowed down during sleep. But when you exercise your metabolism increases. So exercising in the morning enhances your metabolism when it’s naturally the most sluggish.
Another benefit to moving first thing in the morning is the fact that exercising releases endorphins, your body’s natural feel-good drug. Endorphins help you respond better to the unexpected events that the upcoming day may throw at you.
Morning may be the only time of day that you can actually control. As the day goes on, things change, distractions come up. Like things that demand your time; your spouse, your kids, your job;
